When Scotland went to vote, there was a general response from the south, to the Scots even considering their right to determine their own destiny:

‘condescending, patronizing, supercilious, superior, snobbish, snobby, scornful, disdainful, lofty, lordly, haughty, imperious’

and therein lies the problem, however those who behaved in such a manner, will never notice this in their treatment of those who they consider beneath them.

The consideration that how stupid the Scots are, and how could they even govern themselves, how could they survive without ‘mighty England’

Agreement on Iran nuclear power

The South African government has welcomed the Geneva agreement between world powers and Iran agreeing to a temporary freeze of its nuclear programme.

According to the six-month agreement — reached between the US, China, Russia, the UK, France and Germany — Iran will curb some of its nuclear activities and receive US $7 billion in sanctions relief. Iran agreed to halt nuclear activities by 20% and gave UN inspectors access to its facilities. [Read more…]
