South Africa qualified due to being the host and if the country was judged on performances leading up to the World Cup 2010, on paper they would not have stood a chance and this the public must appreciate, as their performance so far relating to stats is the performance of the tournament so far.

The USA's draw against England is not so much as a shock as people would have it as they are ranked 14th and the 3 Lions 6th.
